Graham, this is for a bike co-op that serves a homeless community. The gentleman who runs it is nicknamed Dragon. I wanted to use a D as a mark and worked up a stylized dragon to create that. Effective in typography? Too much for main line? Color? Weight? Balanced?

Hi Graham,
I am working on the logo, layout and overall visual identity of www.trailermusicnews.com. First I would like to add that was a long debate of the name aswell. ‘trailermusicnews’ was born from functionality and it provides news, interviews, articles regarding trailer music which is just a part of production music business. Tho trailermusicnews.com seems to surpass its original purpose and cover every news, events regarding epic music.
I guess an explanation is needed here: epic music basically become a synonym of trailer music. Trailer music describes a typical music genre: massive orchestra with choral sound. First fans used epic music to describe the songs of popular trailer music companies such as Two Steps From Hell, Immediate Music, X-ray Dog. We thought that we don’t want to leave behind the reputation trailermusicnews.com built over the two years.
So want to stick to this name, but from the beginning it was used as an abbreviation: TMN. So we decided we can built a brand on TMN must efficiently than on trailermusicnews.com so that’s why the abbreviation features in the logo. But we wanted to catch and built epic music into the brand that’s why we created a tag line very early: “Junkies for epic music.” TMN is a community site for fans who love epic music, but further we would like to have a store to sell music.
The T letter of our previous logo, which one features on the site now (letters in circle) is really confusing, because people can not decide it’s T or M and I wanted to catch this and inherit it into the new logo. I want the logo to break from trailermusicnews and make it a stand alone symbol of TMN.

Also I would like to know your opinion on wabpage layout.

Hey,
I am working on a logo design proposal for a trading firm dealing with stock brokers, traders, trade stocks etc (like stock exchange). I have come up with the following options. Not a must, but they showed some interest in an icon incorporating a graph, pic chart etc. while retaining a corporate feel.
A simple bar graph would have been too obvious, so instead I have opted for this horizontal bar graphs. Also, I wasn’t too enthusiastic about using pie charts as they have been overly used. I was hoping I could have some feedback regarding the icon for this logo.

P.S. Please be as much harsh as possible :)

I Client of mine had this logo designed for him. He asked me my opinion. I said like the idea but it did not looked finished. I was then tasked to finish the logo. Need your help. (paulwhartonstyle.com)The client is a TV personality that offers workshop on modeling and makeovers. My client is also coming out with his own cosmetics line. The word “style” at the bottom of the logo will be interchangeable with the different parts of his brand, e.g. “cosmetics” or “makeover”. Twitter ID @ecographics. I can send you a link to my dropbox if you’d like the Ai file.

From a photography background and transitioning to a graphic artist role, I am always observing. This was the one that made the most sense to me out of all my sketches.
Having just recently graduated I’ve been struggling to design a logo to represent myself as a fresh, young and enthusiastic designer/photographer. So far the only design that I feel ‘happy’ with is the one posted above, I feel its simplicity reflects my design style. However I am open to criticism and would love to get peoples opinions on the current design and how to improve it.
Thanks

Hey, I could really use the help deciding on this. The above logo is my current but I’ve had a lot of problems utilizing this efficiently considering all of my web design is grid based and I use my logo’s on the footer of my posters and it looks off in both places; always. The bottom is a potentially new logo which would work great for using the space ship as icons on Facebook and twitter. Brand Discription: Friction Online™ is a multi-disciplinary design firm based out of the Boston Metrowest area with a focus on philanthropy. We mix good design and business savvy with a hint of humanitarianism in hopes of a happier world.
chrismccord asked: Hey, can I add a logo to a post from earlier? They suggested I make some subtle changes, like upper case instead of lower case on my "photography" word, and I wanted to update the post and get more feedback, is that possible?
Chris McCord Photography was my post...
Probably better to add it as a link in the comments. This way all the existing commentators will be notified.
